Just in case I forgot to tell you... I turned my dining room and front room into a botanical library. The pictures above give you a glimpse of how the library looked the day after all the shelving was installed. As with the garden, the Library expands and contracts throughout the year.
Creating a library was a dream I didn't know I had until I realized that I had enough gardening books stashed about the house that I often found myself going from room to room searching for one book or another.
Northern Gardeners often enjoy two distinct seasons of personal growth, hands-on learning during the growing season and book learning during the winter. As someone who thoroughly enjoys gardening books - new & used, old & fresh of the press - I'm passionate about helping gardeners Grow That Garden Library™ and that's why I recommend a gardening book in every Episode.

Is it possible to have too many books?
We all love gardening books, and we can't have too many, right?
Well, each week, I pick a lucky listener to receive a brand new book.
Starting in 2020, I'm going to have a small competition for our lucky listeners. Come up with five different books that you think are amazing for gardeners, share it in the Facebook Group, and you could be the next lucky winner.
