My Botanical Library

Just in case I forget to tell you... I turned my dining room and front room into a botanical library. The pictures above give you a glimpse of how the library looked the day after all the shelving was installed. As with the garden, the Library expands and contracts throughout the year.

Creating a library was a dream I didn't know I had until I realized that I had enough gardening books stashed about the house that I often found myself going from room to room searching for one book or another.

Northern Gardeners often enjoy two distinct seasons of personal growth, hands-on learning during the growing season and book learning during the winter. As someone who thoroughly enjoys gardening books - new & used, old & fresh of the press - I'm passionate about helping gardeners Grow That Garden Library™  and that's why I recommend a gardening book in every Episode.
