Even when spring is coy, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden knows the heart’s calendar.
On this day, The New York Times tweeted:
The Brooklyn Botanic Garden cherry blossom festival is set for today and tomorrow, regardless of when nature [decided] to push play.
And so the faithful gathered—some for the full pink confetti, others for the simple pleasure of walking beneath the boughs, whether they were dressed or not.
Anticipation is its own blossom; it perfumes the air with hope.
