I Wonder if the Snow Loves the Trees and Fields

by Lewis Carroll

I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields,
that it kisses them so gently?
And then it covers them up snug,
you know, with a white quilt;
and perhaps it says
“Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again.”

Today's Garden words were featured on the podcast:

Words inspired by the garden are the sweetest, most beautiful words of all.
A softly lit, wintry landscape featuring a flock of sheep standing in a snow-covered field. Bare trees fade into the misty, pale background, evoking a serene and poetic winter scene.
